Jaron: From Conservator to Master Framer
Jaron brings over 11 years of experience as a painting conservator to the table. At the renowned Overland Gallery in Minneapolis, he wasn't just safeguarding artwork; he was also framing, mounting, and installing pieces at the prestigious Museum of Russian Art and private homes. This meticulous attention to detail translates into his role as our master framer and design consultant. Jaron's passion for art extends beyond restoration. He's an independent artist with 30 years of experience under his belt, creating paintings, drawings, and sculptures. His journey as an artist has given him a unique understanding of the artist's perspective, allowing him to create exceptional framing solutions that highlight and protect each piece.
Melinda: Championing Artists and Community
Melinda boasts an impressive 20-year career supporting arts-related non-profit organizations. Her expertise lies in fostering a thriving artistic ecosystem, fostering collaborations between artists and the community, and spearheading impactful placemaking projects. At Childs Frame Co., Melinda serves as our business manager and retail assistant.She's passionate about nurturing the creative spirit thriving in the Northwoods and providing a platform for local artists to showcase their work.
Ryan: Artistry Meets Expertise
Rounding out our team is Ryan Doberstein, a talented artist and educator who also lends his expertise as our framing assistant. Ryan's artistic background coupled with his technical skills make him a valuable asset to our team.
